The East Africa Investment Forum and Trade Exhibition invite you to an exceptional event running alongside the esteemed NAM G77 Summit. From January 15th to 18th, 2024, at the Kampala Serena Hotel, this forum shifts the spotlight to East Africa, showcasing its immense business and investment opportunities to NAM and G77 member states.
The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) unites with the Group of 77 (G77) to create a conducive environment for South-South cooperation. The 19th NAM Summit and the 3rd South Summit is a perfect platform to channel the spirit of cooperation among nations.
The G77, or the “Group of 77,” is a coalition of 135 developing countries dedicated to advancing their economic interests and collective bargaining power within the UN.Â

1. Showcase East Africa's Potential
 From vibrant industries to innovative projects, discover the diverse sectors driving East Africa’s economic growth, with key focus on s Tourism, Agri-value Addition, Mineral Beneficiation, Oil and Gas, ICT sectors
2. Facilitate Regional Integration
Strengthening ties within East Africa and fostering collaboration for a unified approach to economic development.
3. Global Engagement
Extending a warm invitation to NAM and G77 member states to explore lucrative opportunities in East Africa, including knowledge transfer and exploring joint ventures
4. Expected Outcomes
- Signing of at least 5 Investment deals worth USD 100 million, with potential investors in the priority programs of Uganda in Agro-industrialisation, Tourism, Manufacturing, Industrial Parks, Energy, Mining, Oil and Gas among others.
- Generating a compendium of investment leads (list of investors interested in Uganda’s investment opportunities). This will include, among others, the name of the investor, their contact details and areas of interest.
- Signing at least 3 Joint Venture Partnerships
